Are you looking for accelerating application workloads for the modern data center ecosystem? The HPE SN1700E 64Gb Fiber Channel Host Bus Adapters are designed for demanding mission-critical workloads and emerging applications. It supports HPE ProLiant and HPE Apollo servers with PCI-Express I/O slots to connect to HPE storage all-flash and NVMe-based arrays using the 64/32/16 Gb Fiber Channel (GFC) protocol. Compared to the previous generation, the HPE SN1700E FC HBAs offers higher bandwidth, better latency, enhanced security, and operational efficiency for 64 GFC. It provides seamless backward compatibility to 32 GFC, 16 GFC, and 8 GFC networks. When using storage-intensive applications, such as backup/restore, database transactions, virtualization, and rich media, the increased performance of the 64 GFC infrastructure enables rapid storage and retrieval of critical information.

It offers PCIe 4.0 support and provides better interconnect performance bandwidth when compared to PCIe 3.0. It speeds up applications and AFAs, as well as handles peak workload I/O spikes better than the previous generation adapters. The HPE SN1700E 64Gb Fiber Channel Host Bus Adapter offers higher bandwidth, better latency, enhanced security, and operational efficiency for 64 GFC storage area networks.

Simplified manageability
It enables full end-to-end implementation of Brocade Fabric Vision from the HBA to the switch. It provides improved HBA reliability through which one can meet the service-level agreements (SLA) on time. The HPE SN1700E 64Gb Fiber Channel Host Bus Adapter saves time with no server reboots for firmware updates, queue depth changes, and optics replacements.

Protect your data
The HPE SN1700E 64Gb Fiber Channel Host Bus Adapter can protect the data from corruption using the data integrity field (T10 DIF). The secure boot offers UEFI boot code security with digitally signed boot code. The HPE SN1700E 64Gb Fiber Channel Host Bus Adapter can thwart malicious firmware with a silicon root of trust and digitally signed firmware.
